Description
Replacement lower front trailing arm bump stop for Volkswagen T2 Baywindow Kombis from 1968 to 1979.
This rubber suspension bump stop mounts to the lower section of the front axle and limits suspension travel under heavy compression. It helps prevent excessive upward movement of the trailing arm and protects the front suspension and wheel arch when the vehicle encounters large bumps or rough road surfaces.
Original bump stops commonly harden, crack, deteriorate or disappear completely after decades of use. Replacing damaged or missing stops is an important part of restoring the front suspension to proper operation.
Suitable for either the left or right side and sold individually. A retaining clip is used to secure the bump stop and may also require replacement during installation.
