Description
When replacing brake components on your VW Kombi it may not always be necessary to replace the rear brake drums, but if the rear shoes have ever been worn to the metal at any time there is a high chance the brake drums have been damaged and may be scored or warped. You may or may not experience a shudder in the pedal under heavy or light braking.
If you are replacing your brake shoes and wheel cylinder it's a good idea to also replace the brake drums so that the old worn drum won't cause any premature wear to your new brake shoes.
Fits: Early Baywindow Kombis from 1968 to 1970 with front and rear drum brakes and 5x205 stud pattern. This is a rear drum.
