Description
This is the retaining wire for the pushrod tubes on the 1700, 1800 and 2L type 4 pancake engines.
We suggest checking that these are both fitted, and fitted correctly when doing your regular tappet adjustment. We often find that these have not been refitted after the pushrod tube seals have been replaced. These are necessary to keep pressure on your pushrod tubes to ensure they don't come loose and leak oil
Fits all Baywindow Kombis, early air-cooled T3's and Porsche 914's fitted with a type 4 pancake engine.
