Description

Are the brakes on your Volkswagen T2 Kombi dragging or pulling to one side? We have found that on 80% of our Kombi's the brake calipers are seized. They will either be stuck on or not return properly. This is usually due to the piston being seized. We are still yet to find replacement pistons for the calipers and we find that the best and most cost effective way to fix them is just to replace them with new ones.

We recommend replacing both calipers otherwise you may find the newer caliper will operate better than your older caliper and will therefore cause your brakes to pull to one side.

This Brake Caliper is for the front left for a Type 2 T2 Baywindow Kombi from 1972-1979 and a T3 from 1982 to 1986. These do not fit the 1970-1971 models. You will need a conversion kit.

Calipers do not come supplied with brake pads, anti-rattle plates, pins or any of the fitting kit. These can all be reused from old callipers.

You may need to bend your brake pipe as the mounting spot may be in a different location than your original callipers.

We recommend having a professional mechanic replace your brake components.

Actual product may not perfectly match the images but will always be a comparable product and quality.
