Description
If you are noticing signs of poor braking such as a sloppy brake pedal, one of the first things to check would be your rear wheel cylinders. We replace these on all of our Kombi projects. If you are restoring a Kombi and it has been off the road for more than a year, it's a good idea to replace your rear wheel cylinders. If you don't and these start leaking they will firstly start contaminating your brake shoes and drums.
Always replace the cheap things as a matter of maintenance to save yourself from costly repairs later.
These are good quality Meyle wheel cylinders. Sold individually, you will require one per side or two per vehicle. We always recommend replacing brake components in pairs as replacing one side will only put pressure on the other which is more than likely close to failing anyway.
