Description
This is the mechanical fuel pump to fit your baywindow VW Kombi with a 1700, 1800 or 2 Litre Type 4 air-cooled engine.
This fuel pump is a replica of the original mechanical fuel pump and comes with a pair of gaskets. Does not include the pushrod or the plastic flange. We would suggest replacing both of these while you are replacing the fuel pump. Usually we find the flange is cracked and will leak oil and the pushrod is often worn down beyond a reasonable wear limit. Before putting in the pushrod. Please check the length which should be 139.8mm. If the pushrod is too long you risk damaging the fuel pump, pushrod and or camshaft. If the pushrod is too short the fuel pump won't create sufficient pressure.
